Shinoda was the swordsmanship teacher of the No. 1 Solo Fighter, Kei Tachikawa, and is hailed as the strongest man at HQ with a Normal Trigger. Although he specialises in dual-wielding, he was able to overpower Enedra, a Black Trigger user, with only one Kogetsu, cutting down all his blades before they could reach him. He first uses it in chapter 70 (episode 31 in the anime).
Miwa's swordsmanship is first class. He swiftly draws it and approaches the enemy to get past their defenses when the Asteroid is not sufficient. He has shown to be able to attack continuously while moving and dodging, even from very difficult positions. His style consists in slashing at the opponent as soon as he gets into range, using a fast paced barrage of attacks that leaves the enemy no room to retreat or counter at their preferred pace. He can also wiled Kogetsu together with his handgun to expand his options.Hairein commented that even though Miwa knew about Alektor, it was still impressive that he managed to cut him. Miwa first uses Kogetsu in chapter 14 (episode 7 in the anime).
Yoneya wields a modified Kogetsu, which has the appearance of a Yari spear rather than a katana. He also has Genyō, which allows him to shapeshift the tip of the blade. He was first seen with it in chapter 2 (episode 2 in the anime).
Having reached Master Class with this Trigger, Tsuji is a very proficient user. He is capable of actively fighting with it with only one hand, and thus covering a larger area with each swing, which requires a good degree of skill and strength as, due to its weight, the Kogetsu tends to unbalance the user. With the Kogetsu, Tsuji was able to hold back both Koarai and Okudera, who, despite being less skilled users, can defeat opponents much stronger than them with their first-class teamwork.
Ikoma is a top level Kogetsu user, managing to reach the No.06 Attacker rank with it. He was able to hold his own against Yūma in a swordfight, although he had to retreat when the latter started using Osamu's wires. Ikoma can wield Kogetsu with either one or two hands. He uses the second grip when he wants to defend. His fighting style appears to focus on using it alongside the Optional Trigger Senkū to take out the opponent the instant they become vulnerable, to the point it's become a habit
Koarai uses Kogetsu as his main trigger. He's not especially skilled on his own, but can battle even some of Border's strongest agents when teamed up with Okudera. He first uses it in chapter 44 (episode 22 in the anime).
Okudera uses Kogetsu as his main trigger. He's not especially skilled on his own, but can battle even some of Border's strongest agents when teamed up with Koarai. He first uses it in chapter 44 (episode 22 in the anime).
Kogetsu is Miura's offensive Trigger. Although wielding it with only one hand causes him to lose his balance, he is still able to block a slash from a Kogetsu user who was dropping on him. He first uses it in chapter 123.
Arafune reached Master Class with Kogetsu and he is adept at wielding it, although he is no longer as skilled as he used to be, leading Shun Midorikawa to predict he would lose to Kuga. He can swing it with only one hand and retain his balance despite having a damaged leg. He occasionally incorporates other Triggers in his fighting style, such as Bagworm and Shield. Arafune first uses Kogetsu in chapter 89 (episode 41 in the anime).
Despite claiming he has gone rusty, Hyuse is very proficient in using this Trigger, owing to the six years of training in swordsmanship under Viza. With it, he was able to defeat multiple C-Rank agents in quick succession, as well as several agents from the middle of B-Rank. In terms of pure sword skills, he was evenly matched against the current No. 6 Attacker, Ikoma. However, when faced against Tachikawa, Hyuse could score only 1 win out of 5, prompting him to estimate that his current level in swordsmanship alone would place him somewhere between the No. 4 and No. 8 Attacker. Hyuse is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 159.
Rooster Battle Formation: Vidofnir (酉の陣 輝く鳥,Tori no Jin: Vizofuniru?): After striking a pose reminiscent of a bird, the members of Kōda Unit attack the same target simultaneously, Hinoe with Kogetsu, Kōda and Saotome with Hound.
Border's first Attacker Trigger, Jin was extremely proficient with it, reaching the position of no.2 Attacker and Solo Combatant. However, he knew he could not beat Tachikawa with it, and so he created Scorpion, using it as his main Trigger from that moment on.
Despite being supposedly inferior to Tatsuhito Ikoma, Shinoda is an extremely skilled Senkū user, which he can employ in a number of unique ways. Not only he was seen creating the highest amount of slashes in a single activation - four - with a normal Kogetsu, he was able to make his attacks turn in order to avoid Enedra's blades, each swing destroying one of his dummies despite the opponent's retaliation. His Senkū attacks can be used to pierce the target instead of cutting them for pin-point offense.
Tachikawa uses Senkū to increase the range of Kogetsu in an instant, performing a wide and deadly attack. Thanks to this Trigger, he can fight effectively in mid-range. His skill is such that Kō Murakami commented it looked as though Senkū was created specifically for him. He can perform at least two slashes within the same activation.
Double Senkū Kogetsu (ダブル旋空弧月,Daburu Senkū Kogetsu?):[BBF Q167] Tachikawa can activate Senkū through both the main and the sub while wielding two Kogetsu. It is very likely he used this technique to effortlessly cut down an Ilgar, whose already durable armor was enhanced as it was ready to self-destruct.
Thanks to his speed, Yoneya can deliver multiple slashes with Senkū in a short time. He was able to strike five times within the same activation, although it is unknown if he prolonged it and if his modified Kogetsu gives him an advantage in that regard.
Tsuji is always seen using this Trigger for a surprise attack before engaging the opponent, exploiting its range to remain safely at a distance. It also allows him to attack multiple targets at once and to control their position to some extent.
Ikoma was described by Jin as the most skilled Senkū user in Border. The reason is that he can make extremely long-reaching attacks through a very short effect duration. When he uses the regular activation time of 1 second, he is capable of performing two slashes, a feat equaled by Kei Tachikawa and surpassed solely by Masafumi Shinoda.
Ikoma Senkū (生駒旋空,Ikoma Senkū?): By activating Senkū for a mere 0.2 seconds, Ikoma can extend the reach of his sword up to 40 meters instead of the usual 15, which makes him the Attacker with the longest range. This complex technique, requiring the user to draw and swing his sword extremely quickly while synchronizing his slash with the activation of Senkū, is named Ikoma Senkū after the only person in Border capable of using it.
Yoneya regularly employs Gen'yō as part of his combat style to change the tip of his spear. He uses it to hit dodging enemies or ones that attempt to block his attacks. He is skilled and fast enough to activate this Trigger mid-swing and deactivate it immediately afterwards, which prevents his opponent from understanding how it works. He is generally unable to inflict lethal damage on a watchful foe, but it proved to be very effective when targeting limbs.
